Tim Tebows Fire St Elmos Fire

Tim Tebows Fire St Elmos Fire

Tim Tebows Fire St Elmos Fire - Popular 80′s Song “St. Elmo’s Fire” Has Been Re-Made In Honor Of Tim Tebow, Tebow inspires classic '80s remake, English singer John Parr, known for his hit 1985 song "St. Elmo's Fire" , has remade the song as a tribute to Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. Parr said he was inspired by Tebow and reworked the song in honor of how he lives his life as being a great example

Everyone seems to want to cash-in on Denver Borncos quarterback Tim Tebow‘s success. People like 80′s one-hit wonder John Parr, who back in 1985 penned the theme to the hit film “St. Elmos’ Fire,” titled “Man In Motion.” Apparently he wants in on some of that Tebow magic, but only in the laziest way possible.
Parr, who told Fox 31 in Denver that he was “inspired” by Tebow, changed the lyrics to his hit song to honor the 2nd-year quarterback. Yes, he did a little more than just add in a “Tim Tebow” here and there, but not much more. I don’t want to say this was a lazy effort, but… Just take a listen and judge for yourself:
Did you catch the Tebow-ing reference in there?
It was pretty subtle, but of course he had to give it a little nod. Again, I don’t want to say this effort was lazy, but It the parts of the song where it sounds like he’s just adding in the words “Broncos” and “Tim Tebow” over the original song are pretty ridiculous. It was a nice effort, though. And, if anything, this is probably the first time in my entire life I ever typed the name “John Parr.” So, there’s that.

Take a look at the lyrics:

Growin’ up
Gotta keep your eye on the ball
Make it fly,
Give it everything, give your all
But maybe sometimes if you feel the pain
You’ll find you’re all alone
Everything has changed

Play the game
You know you can’t quit until it’s won
Soldier on
Only you can do what must be done
You know I’m out there
Down on one knee
a prisoner
And I’m tryin’ to break free

CHORUS:
I can see a new horizon
Underneath the blazin’ sky
I’ll be where the eagle’s
Flyin’ higher and higher
Gonna be a man in motion
All I needs my Broncos team
Take me where my future’s lyin’
Tim Tebow’s Fire

Oooh…
Burnin’ up
Don’t know just how far that I can go
(Just how far I go)
Soon be home
Only just 4 downs to go
I can make it
I know I can
You broke the boy in me
But you won’t break the man
(CHORUS)
I can see a new horizon
blazin’ on the Mile High
I’ll be where the eagle’s
Flyin’ higher and higher
Gonna be your man in motion
All I needs my Broncos team
Take me where my future’s lyin’
Tim Tebow’s Fire
I can climb the highest mountain
These Broncos can’t be beat
I can feel St Elmo’s Fire burnin’ in me
Burnin’ in me
Just once in his life
A man has his time
And my time is now
And I’m comin’ alive
I can hear the music playin’
I can see the banners fly
Feel like a man again
I’ll hold my head high
Gonna be a man in motion
These broncos can’t be beat
Take me where my future’s lyin’
Tim Tebow’s fire
(CHORUS)
I can climb the highest mountain
Cross the wildest sea
I can feel St. Elmo’s Fire burnin’ in me
Burnin’
Burnin’ in me
I can feel it burnin’
Oooh, burnin’ inside of me
